Day 2: Experience and discover Hamburg - F
This morning you will explore Hamburg on a city tour. You will learn everything you need to know about the Hanseatic city and its inhabitants. Among other things, you will see the luxury villas of celebrities on the banks of the Alster and discover that this city has a charm all of its own.
In the afternoon, for example, it's "Ahoy and cast off!". You will be expected at the Landungsbrücken for a harbor tour (optional) and explore the harbor on a barge. Depending on the water level, you will sail through the warehouse district and through the various locks and harbor basins. You will see the huge container ships up close and take a look at the floating and dry docks of the Blohm Voss company. If you are lucky, you may even be able to marvel at a cruise ship or admire it leaving the port. Your captain will tell you all sorts of interesting facts and the odd anecdote.
Day 3: Journey home - F
For the early risers among you, a visit to the Hamburg fish market is a must. Every Sunday, the famous fish market takes place around the fish auction halls. Everything that is not nailed down is on sale there. From fish and vegetables to clothing and souvenirs, there is something for every taste. You should definitely take a look at the fish auction halls. Various live bands play there every Sunday, which you can listen to during a morning pint.
