Day 1: Arrival Ancona – Embarkation
At the heart of a breathtaking natural landscape, the enchanting Region of Marche in Italy invites you to begin your journey. From here, you will embark on the ferry to Igoumenitsa – the perfect start to your adventure.
Before departure, we are delighted to arrange a guided tour of the charming port city of Ancona. Stroll through its atmospheric streets and discover impressive Gothic architecture, including the magnificent churches of San Francesco and Sant’Agostino. The city’s rich history and vibrant flair provide the ideal prelude to your voyage across the Adriatic.

Day 2: Igoumenitsa – Kalambaka – 220 km - F/A
You arrive in the lively port city of Igoumenitsa. Your journey continues across the scenic Katara Pass, nestled in the majestic Pindos Mountains, before reaching Kalambaka.
This charming town lies at the foot of the extraordinary Meteora monasteries, perched dramatically on towering rock formations. Six of these monasteries are still inhabited today and together they form part of the UNESCO World Heritage Site – a truly unforgettable highlight of your journey.

Separated by deep gorges, the Meteora monasteries crown the mighty rock pinnacles of the impressive Pindos mountain range. An asphalt road leads up to the largest and most significant monastery, Meteoron, where you will have the opportunity to visit one of the six monasteries still inhabited today
Your day’s journey continues to the legendary ancient oracle site of Delphi, majestically situated high above the Gulf of Corinth. Here, history and myth intertwine in a place once considered the very center of the world.

Day 4: Area of Delphi – Athens – 190 km - F/A
The ancient sanctuary of Apollo at Delphi is considered the most important archaeological site of the classical era. A detour via Distomo is highly recommended to visit the Orthodox monastery of Osios Loukas, renowned for its exquisite 11th‑century mosaics.
Your journey then continues to Athens, where history and modern life blend seamlessly. In the lively old town district of Plaka, you can experience Greek folklore firsthand: dance the famous Sirtaki and savor authentic Greek specialties (optional).

Day 5: Athens – City tour - F/A
Enjoy the opportunity for an exciting city tour through the vibrant metropolis of Athens (optional), including a visit to the impressive Acropolis, the city’s most iconic landmark.
If you prefer a more relaxed pace, we recommend a scenic excursion along the Apollo Coast to Cape Sounion, with lunch en route. Alternatively, unwind on a delightful full-day cruise to the Saronic Islands of Aegina, Hydra, and Poros (optional) – each offering its own charm and unforgettable atmosphere.

Day 6: Athen – Area of Nafplion/Tolon – 160 km - F/A
Crossing the impressive Corinth Canal, you reach the Peloponnese. The harmonious landscape of Argolis unfolds in cheerful, authentic beauty: vineyards, olive groves, and apricot orchards shape the scenery.
Culturally, this region captivates with its treasures – the legendary citadel of Mycenae, the ancient theater of Epidaurus, as well as Tiryns, Midea, and the historic city of Argos.
Your day concludes with a drive to your hotel on the picturesque Argolic Gulf, where relaxation meets history and nature.

Day 7: Area of Nafplion/Tolon – Olympia – Patras Embarkation – 310 km - F
Traveling through the mountain landscapes of the Peloponnese, you arrive in Olympia, the birthplace of the Olympic Games. Here you will visit the world’s oldest stadium, a site steeped in history and tradition.
Afterwards, enjoy a light lunch to refresh yourself before the return journey. In the early evening, your ferry departs from Patras, carrying you across the sea with unforgettable memories of Greece.

Day 8: Arrival Ancona - F
In the early afternoon, you arrive in Ancona. From here, you begin your journey home, carrying with you unforgettable impressions of Greece and Italy – from majestic monasteries and ancient sanctuaries to vibrant cities and culinary delights.
