Dresden arouses great emotions and is incredibly exciting. Baroque old town and hip new town, off-scene and world-class art treasures, culture and nature. The Elbe flows through the city, lined with meadows and in wide curves, past castles and old village centers. Be impressed by the unique charm and character of this baroque city.
Day 1: Arrival Dresden
Arrival in the city of Dresden, Saxony's Florence on the Elbe. Depending on your route, we will be happy to put together an individual program for your journey, just contact us! After your arrival in the Saxon metropolis, we recommend a visit to the Panometer in Dresden (optional). The view that visitors get from an approximately ten-metre-high platform in the middle of the 100-metre-long and 28-metre-high panoramic painting is amazingly realistic due to the perspective effect and the unprecedentedly high resolution.
Day 2: Dresden city tour - ride on the suspension railroad - F
After breakfast at the hotel, your guide will be waiting to take you on a combined city tour. Dresden, a city of art of European standing, offers a wealth of architectural monuments. Among other things, you will see the famous Frauenkirche and the Zwinger, which is regarded as an outstanding building of Baroque festive architecture. Beyond the Picture Gallery, the Theaterplatz opens up, framed by the Semper Gallery, Opera House, Taschenberg Palace, Palace and Court Church. One of today's highlights is a ride on the world's oldest cable car. Together with your tour guide, you will travel to Loschwitz. The Dresden suspension railroad travels 84 meters in altitude between Loschwitz and Oberloschwitz. An impressive view awaits you from the top station.
In the afternoon, you will have time to discover Dresden's alleyways on your own. We will be happy to find one or two other exciting activities for your group in the Saxon capital.
Day 3: Virtual time travel(s) and journey home - F
