  • Guided tours in Verona, Florence, Sorrento, Rome and Venice
  • TIP: Visit the romantic Island Capri!

Italy awaits you! – we take you on a round trip to some of the most beautiful places in this marvelous country.
You will discover eternal Rome with the Colosseum and the Trevi Fountain. Throw in a coin for good luck! In the art metropolis of Florence, you will discover not only Michelangelo's David sculpture or splendid Renaissance palaces but also the historic market hall. A culinary experience not to be missed! Another city on your journey through Italy is sunny Sorrento on the Gulf of Naples as well as romantic Verona, the setting for the tragic love story of Romeo & Juliet.
Venice awaits you as your final destination – bridges, gondolas, blue skies everywhere, reflected in the plentiful water of the lagoon.
Could Italy be more beautiful and diverse?

Day 1: Arrival Lake Garda area - A
On a route of your choice, you travel to the Lake Garda area, the largest of the northern Italian lakes.

Day 2: Lake Garda area – Verona – Versilia Coast – 320 km - F/A
After breakfast, you will travel to the beautiful city of Verona, which inspired Sir William Shakespeare to write one of his most famous works. There are many cultural highlights to discover here, such as the famous Arena di Verona, Juliet's house, the Romanesque church of San Zeno or the Piazza delle Erbe with its pretty buildings from different centuries. After your city tour, you may have the opportunity to browse the exclusive boutiques or enjoy a delicious cappuccino in one of the many cafés.
In the afternoon, continue to the Versilia Coast and check into your hotel. Versilia, a vast coastal area in the north of Tuscany, is synonymous with sun, beach and sea.

Day 3: Excursion to Florence – 240 km - F/A
Today you will immerse yourself in what is probably the largest art metropolis in the world. Admire the largest Franciscan church in Italy, Santa Maria Croce, which is the burial place of the most important Italian personalities. Equally impressive is the Palazzo Vecchio with its replica of Michelangelo's David and the Palazzo Medici-Ricardi, the first early Renaissance palace in Florence. We recommend a visit to the market hall, where the freshest specialties of cheese, sausage and vegetables await you. Watch the traders haggle and then enjoy an aperitif (optional) in the area around the market hall. In the afternoon, you can use the time for a stroll or enjoy an espresso in the Piazza Repubblica. Return to the Versilia Coast in the evening.

Day 4: Versilia Coast – Gulf of Naples/Sorrento area – 620 km - F/A
In the morning you will continue your journey to the Gulf of Naples in the Sorrento area. After check-in, you will have time to settle in and relax before dinner in the hotel restaurant.

Day 5: Free time or excursion to Capri (optional) - F/A
Today you can relax. Alternatively, you can take an excursion to Capri (optional):

After meeting your guide at the hotel, you will drive to the harbour in Sorrento where the ferry will bring you to Capri. In a local minibus you will discover the higher part of the town. In the afternoon, you will explore Capri's old town centre with its pretty Piazza Umberto. This small, lively square is popular with tourists and locals alike. A few hundred meters from the center, the serene and picturesque Via Tragara opens, where a panoramic path leads to the Punta di Tragara viewpoint. Enjoy the marvelous view of the Faraglioni rocks before the ferry takes you back to the mainland to your hotel.

Day 6: Area Sorrento – Area Rome – 310 km - F/A
In the morning you will visit Sorrento. The small town lies amidst lush lemon and orange groves on a steep, 50-metre-high tufa cliff on the south side of the Gulf of Naples. The two harbors Marina Grande and Marina Piccola extend along the steep coast and from the Villa Comunale. A marble statue of the poet Torquato Tasso, born in Sorrento in 1544, stands in the centre of the town in Piazza Tasso. In the newer part of Sorrento is the Museo Correale, founded in 1924, where a death mask of Torquato Tasso and rare editions of his works are exhibited. At lunchtime or in the early afternoon, you could make a stop at a winery near Pompeii and at the foot of Mount Vesuvius (optional).
After the city tour, continue to the Rome area. Check-in and dinner.

Day 7: City Tour Rome – 120 km - F/A
During your city tour, you will experience the typical Rome. Don't miss the Colosseum, the Roman Forum, Victor & Emanuel, the Spanish Steps and the Fontana di Trevi. Afterwards, treat yourself to an espresso or vino in one of the many bars and enjoy the Italian dolce vita. For the afternoon, we recommend a stroll through the Trastevere district on the Tiber. With its small alleyways and stores as well as numerous restaurants and bars, this district is one of the most popular among night owls.
You will return to your hotel in the Rome area for dinner.

Day 8: Area Rome – Area Rimini – 400 km - F/A
After breakfast the route will take you to the Rimini area, one of the most popular seaside resorts on the Adriatic coast. After your arrival, you can explore Rimini on your own.
In addition to the beautiful sandy beaches, the pretty old town center is particularly worth seeing. Discover the historic Tiberius Bridge with its five stone arches and marble cladding, the Arch of Augustus from 27 BC (the oldest triumphal arch in Italy) and Piazza Cavour, where you will find the Gothic Palazzo del Podesta, the Palazzo Comunale and the Tempio Malatestiano church. One of the most beautiful parts of the city is the former fishing district of Borgo San Giuliano. The atmosphere in the narrow, cobbled alleyways with their pretty, sometimes beautifully renovated houses is unique.

Day 9: Area Rimini – Venice – Area Lido di Jesolo – 330 km - F/A
You leave Rimini and continue on to Venice. From the port of Punta Sabbioni, you will travel by boat to the city centre in approx. 30-45 minutes. At St Mark's Square you will meet your guide who will show you the most important and most beautiful sights of the lagoon city, such as St Mark's Basilica (exterior view only), the Rialto Bridge or the Mercerie, Venice's famous shopping street. Your walk will take you through the small alleyways, over numerous bridges, past large and small squares, beautiful churches and impressive palaces. You will still have enough time for a shopping spree or a snack in the Bacaro (optional) before the private boat takes you back to the Punta Sabbioni port.

Day 10: Departure - F
A beautiful and unforgettable journey comes to an end. A little wistful, but also with joyful anticipation you start your journey home.
