Berlin, as the cultural, political and historical center of Germany, is one of the most prestigious destinations among the world's major cities. Not only does it offer history at your fingertips, there are also countless shopping opportunities for trendsetters in Berlin. The vibrant city has something to suit every taste! Countless cultural highlights also await you. Particularly impressive: the Berlin Wall. The symbol of the divided world can only be seen in a few places in the city.
Day 1: Arrival in the capital and tour of the city lights
During the course of the day, you will reach the German capital Berlin. In the evening, explore Berlin in all its sparkle and glitter. During the tour of lights in your own coach, you will travel along the Straße unter den Linden to the Brandenburg Gate. You will see the newly built City Palace and the Lustgarten. Of course, the Nicolai Quarter, the Gendarmenmarkt and Potsdamer Platz are not to be missed on this tour. Have fun.
Day 2: Berlin, Berlin - F
Our tip for an extraordinary day in Berlin: so close to the sky...
First of all, the focus is on a building in one of the most popular and important places in the world: the Panoramapunkt at Potsdamer Platz. After taking the fastest elevator in Europe, a breathtaking panorama awaits you at a height of 100m, with many of the most important sights at your feet. Enjoy the view with a glass of sparkling wine and then take enough time to explore the open-air exhibition "BERLINER BLICKE on Potsdamer Platz".
The tour then continues to Berlin Cathedral. Once the court church of the Hohenzollern dynasty, it is now the senior parish and cathedral church of the Protestant parish and is known and loved beyond the city limits. Berlin Cathedral is a world-famous place for visitors from all over the world. It rises magnificently in the heart of the city with its dome visible from afar and enchants from the inside. Experience religion, art and a piece of German history during an interesting guided tour, during which you are sure to get a glimpse behind the scenes of the impressive cathedral.
Afterwards, your local guide will take you on a walk along the city's oldest promenade. This street simply exudes a very special atmosphere and during a city tour through the heart of the city, you will learn all about the other sights and highlights right up to the Brandenburg Gate. Let the impressions you have just experienced sink in and enjoy a champagne or coffee in one of the many cafés. We are also happy to extend or adapt the city tour and you can walk with your guide past the Holocaust Memorial and Tiergarten to Potsdamer Platz, including the Sony Center, which is just as lively today as it was a hundred years ago. Here you can breathe in the flair of a cosmopolitan city between modern skyscrapers and chic hotels...
